Dhofar, Oman
The highest grade of frankincense. Translucent green-to-amber tears harvested from the Boswellia Sacra trees of the Dhofar mountains. When heated, they release a clean, bright, citrus-edged smoke that has been the centrepiece of Arabian ceremony for three thousand years.
Hadramawt, Yemen
Deep, resinous, warm. Myrrh from the Hadramawt valley has been traded for longer than any written record can trace. It is the material that anchored the incense roads.
Peru & Ecuador
A wild-growing tropical tree harvested only from naturally fallen wood. The aromatic compounds develop in the heartwood only after the tree has died and remained on the forest floor for three to five years.
